Who we are

Hello and welcome to Ginny & Trigg – we’re so excited to have you here!

I’m Helen Cooke – a farmer’s wife, embroidery enthusiast, and owner of an equine rug wash business, based in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Alongside running our family farm and other rural businesses, I’ve always had a deep love for country living – not just the work and the lifestyle, but the warmth, charm, and timeless style that comes with it.

Over the years, I found myself drawn to rustic, country-inspired homewares, clothing, and gifts – the kind often seen in the USA and Australia. Natural textures, heritage prints, quality fabrics, practical pieces with a touch of charm – items that feel lived-in, loved, and full of character. But whenever I looked for them here in the UK, I noticed a gap. The style, the quality, the spirit – it just wasn’t quite there.

So, we decided to do something about it.

And Ginny & Trigg was born.

Named after two of our much-loved animals (you’ll get to know them soon!), Ginny & Trigg is our way of bringing a carefully curated slice of country life to homes, wardrobes, and stables across the UK – inspired by rural living, shaped by experience, and filled with heart.

We offer a hand-picked collection of homewares, lifestyle goods, clothing and equine-inspired products – all chosen for their quality, practicality, and style. From cosy knitwear and country classics to stable-to-street pieces, to horsey gifts and rustic décor, we’ve brought together items that reflect the real countryside – with just a hint of overseas influence and a lot of Yorkshire soul.

Whether you're a fellow farmer, a countryside dreamer, or just someone who loves a slower, simpler, more grounded way of living, we hope you’ll find something to love at Ginny & Trigg. Everything we offer is built to last, made to be used, and chosen with care.

This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to take you along for the ride. Follow us, share the journey, and help us grow something truly special – right here in Yorkshire.

Welcome to Ginny & Trigg.

With love from the farm,
Helen Cooke
